CAPE(Catastrophic Assistance Program for Employees)
The Forrest General Healthcare Foundation is proud to administer the CAPE Fund. This program was established after Hurricane Katrina for those employees who suffer a catastrophic event (i.e. fire, tornados, etc.) and may be in need of financial assistance. Application Guidelines
- The Catastrophic Assistance Program for Employees is intended to help individuals with one-time, isolated events that are unrelated to mass disasters such as hurricanes, tornados, pandemics, etc… These funds will not apply to any situation or circumstance that may be designated as a federal, state or local disaster, making it eligible for federal assistance.
- These events are further defined as extraordininary individual catastrophes only.
(Does not include missed car notes, bankruptcies, etc…) - All financial assistance will be paid directly to the service provider. No funds will be paid to the individual.
- Application must be completed in its entirety to be considered.
- Whenever applicable, supporting documentation such as photographs and receipts must be submitted with application.
- Submitting an application does not guarantee funding approval.
- Applications will be reviewed by a volunteer committee consisting of hospital employees and community leaders. All decisions are final.
